Bled Gorge

The Bled Gorge or Vintgar Gorge (Soteska Vintgar) is a 1.6-kilometre gorge located in Slovenia in the Municipality of Gorje near the settlement of Zgornje Gorje, four kilometers northwest of Bled. Carved by the Radovna River, the sheer canyon walls are 50 to 100 metres (to ft) high, with a total slope measuring about 250 m . The stream has created many erosive features such as pools and rapids, and terminates in the picturesque 13 m Šum Falls (literally, 'noisy falls').

Bled Castle

Bled Castle is a medieval castle built on a precipice above the city of Bled in Slovenia, overlooking Lake Bled. According to written sources, it is the oldest Slovenian castle and is currently one of the most visited tourist attractions in Slovenia.

IEDC-Bled School of Management

IEDC-Bled School of Management, located in Bled, Slovenia, is a Business School. It was founded in 1986 upon an initiative of Slovenian business community as the International Executive Development Center. Lake Bled

Lake Bled (Slovene: Blejsko jezero; German: Bleder See, Veldeser See) is a glacial lake in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The area is a popular tourist destination. The lake is 35 km from Ljubljana International Airport and 55 km from the capital city, Ljubljana.

Vrba, Žirovnica

Vrba is one of ten villages in the Municipality of Žirovnica in the Upper Carniolan region of Slovenia. It was first mentioned in written sources from 1247 and is a typical example of a compact Alpine village. According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 196. The Slovene national poet France Prešeren, who was born in the village, dedicated it the sonnet "O Vrba", the first of his Sonnets of Misfortune.
