Buala is a town in the Solomon Islands. {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:8|08|S|159|35|E|region:SB_type:city|| |primary |name= }} Buala is located on Santa Isabel Island (the longest of the Solomon Islands). Buala consists of Jejevo station and Buala Village. Buala is located on a side of a hill so there is no place for the town to expand, new feeder roads have been continuously developed to the east and western ends of the township.

Isabel Province

Isabel Province (also spelled Ysabel) is one of the provinces of the Solomon Islands. It has a population of around 30,000 (2004). The capital is Buala on Santa Isabel Island. Santa Isabel is the longest Island in the Solomon Islands, South Pacific. The first European contact to the Solomon Islands was made by Spanish navigator Álvaro de Mendaña de Neira in 1568, who gave them their name. The highest point there is Mount Kubonitu, 1120 meters (3675 feet).
