KwaZulu-Natal

KwaZulu-Natal is a province of South Africa. Prior to 1994, the territory now known as KwaZulu-Natal was made up of the province of Natal and the homeland of KwaZulu. In the 1830s, the northern part was the Zulu Kingdom and southern part was briefly a Boer republic called Natalia (1839–1843). In 1843, the latter became the British Colony of Natal; Zululand (KwaZulu in Zulu) remained independent until 1879.

Hibberdene

Hibberdene is a small coastal town on KwaZulu-Natal south coast in South Africa. It was named after C. Maxwell-Hibberd, the former postmaster-general of Natal. Hibberdene is considered the gateway to the Hibiscus Coast of Kwazulu Natal. It is a seaside town situated 97 km south of Durban, halfway between Scottburgh and Port Shepstone. Hibberdene has become a popular holiday destination with local and foreign tourists. It is known as an affordable destination and for its beaches.
