Alaior

Alaior (previously in Spanish, Alayor) is a municipality on the island of Minorca, in the Balearic Islands, Spain. It is situated 12 km from the capital, Maó. In 2005 it had a population of 8,671 and it covers an area of 109.77 km². The principal activities are tourism, shoemaking, cheese, and construction materials. The patron saint of the municipality is Saint Lawrence and Saint Eulalia.

Cala En Porter

Cala En Porter (often referred to as Cala'n Porter or Calan Porter) is a village in the Alaior municipality of Minorca. It is located on the island's south coast. It was one of the earliest developed beach resorts on the island. Cala En Porter has a beach cove similar to Lulworth Cove, England, UK with high imposing limestone cliffs. Whilst the western cliff remains totally undeveloped, the eastern side is now covered in villas and terrace bars.

Son Bou, Minorca

Son Bou is a village in the Alaior region of Minorca, a small island in the Balearics. It is split into three districts: Son Bou (mostly shops, restaurants and two large hotels), San Jaime (Villas and Garden apartments) and Torre Soli Nou (Private villas and apartment complexes). It is a start/arrival point for two stages of the GR 223 - Camí de Cavalls. In all there are four hotels: two in Son Bou, one in San Jaime and one in Torre Soli Nou.

Minorca

Minorca or Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea belonging to Spain. Its name derives from its size, contrasting it with nearby Majorca. Minorca has a population of approximately 94,383 (2010). It is located 39°47' to 40°00'N, 3°52' to 4°24'E. Its highest point, called El Toro or Monte Toro, is 358 metres above sea level.

El Toro (Minorca)

El Toro in Catalan, sometimes known by its Spanish name of Monte Toro, in is the tallest hill of the island of Minorca, rising to a height of 358 m . The mountain is home to the Sanctuary of the Verge del Toro. The mountain's summit can be accessed by automobile or on foot, from which there is a fantastic view of the nearby areas of the island. El Toro is designated as an ANEI (protected natural area).
