Spanish battleship Alfonso XIII

Alfonso XIII was an España-class dreadnought battleship of the Spanish Navy which served in the Spanish fleet from 1915 to 1937. Named after King Alfonso XIII of Spain, she was renamed España in 1931 after the King was exiled following the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic. The new name was the namesake of her earlier sister ship, the España that served in the Spanish fleet from 1913 to 1923.

Magdalena Peninsula

The Magdalena Peninsula is a 69 acre (28 hectare) peninsula located near the entrance to the Bay of Santander in the city of Santander, Cantabria along the north coast of Spain. The peninsula is a popular recreational destination for both tourists and locals. The historic Palacio de la Magdalena is located on the peninsula, which along with its surrounding gardens, is designated as a cultural heritage site.

Isla (Cantabria)

Isla is a small village belonging to the municipality of Arnuero together with other peoples as Soane, Castillo Siete Villas and Arnuero. Is in the region of Trasmiera. Located in northern Cantabria, delimited with the Bay of Biscay to the north, the river and the town of Joyel Noja east, the estuary and the town of Ajo Ajo west, and Mount cinch and the people of the Arnuero south. The main economic activity of the town is tourism. In 2004 it had 935 inhabitants.
