Begur, Spain
Begur is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Empordà in Catalonia, Spain. Begur has 3,986 inhabitants (according to the census of 2005). It is a popular mooring place for sailing and motor boats. Overlooking the bay on one side is a large Parador Hotel situated high on a clifftop. On the other side of the bay is Fornells.
