Tranås Municipality
Tranås Municipality (Tranås kommun) is a municipality in Jönköping County, southern Sweden, where the town Tranås is seat. The original entity Tranås was detached from the rural municipality Säby as a market town in 1882 and made a city in 1919. The reunification took place in 1951 when Säby was made a part of Tranås.

Gripenberg Castle
Gripenberg Castle is a wooden manor house near Tranås in Småland, Sweden. It is considered to be the biggest wooden castle in Sweden and one of the oldest that remain today as well. Gripenberg Castle was built in 1663 as a huntig seat for the field marshal Carl Gustaf Wrangel. Its architect is unknown, but there is some reason to believe, that it might have been Nicodemus Tessin the Elder.

Sommen
Sommen is a Swedish lake. Its area is 132 km² and its greatest depth is 60 m. (although deeper places are found every year) The lake is located in southern Sweden, and is bounded by the provinces of Östergötland and Småland. The lake is a clear-water lake, with a visibility of 9–11 m in the eastern parts of the lake. This makes Sommen one of the greatest clear-water lakes in Sweden. According to tradition Sommen has 365 islands, one for each day of the year. The actual number is around 350.

Boxholm Municipality
Boxholm Municipality (Boxholms kommun) is a municipality in Östergötland County in southeast Sweden. Its seat is located in the industrial town of Boxholm. The present municipality was formed in 1971, when the market town Boxholm (itself instituted in 1947) was amalgamated with Södra Göstring and a parish (Rinna) from the dissolved municipality of Folkunga.
