The Karlevi Runestone, designated as Öl 1 by Rundata, is commonly dated to the late 10th century and located near the Kalmarsund straight in Karlevi on the island of Öland, Sweden. Mörbylånga Municipality

Mörbylånga Municipality (Mörbylånga kommun) is a municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden, located on the island of Öland in the Baltic Sea. The seat is located in the town of Mörbylånga, while the largest town is Färjestaden. The present municipality, making up the southern part of Öland, was formed in 1974. The eighteen original entities (as of 1863) had during the nation-wide subdivision reform of 1952 been regrouped into three larger units.

Diocese of Kalmar

The Diocese of Kalmar was a division of the Church of Sweden between 1603 and 1915, when it was merged into the diocese of Växjö in order to allow the new diocese of Luleå to be formed. It was created as a subdivision to the diocese of Linköping, and was under the supervision of a superintendent. Only in 1678 was a bishop appointed, and Kalmar cathedral became an episcopal see in the term proper.

Kalmar Cathedral

Kalmar Cathedral is in the city of Kalmar in Småland in south east Sweden, situated by the Baltic Sea. The new city of Kalmar built on Kvarnholmen around the mid-1700s. The transfer from the old town was largely completed 1658th The new, fortified town was planned after the current renaissance ideals. According to this pattern were placed church and town hall across from each other at a major square Stortorget Kalmar.
