Östra Göinge Municipality (Östra Göinge kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in Broby. The present municipality was formed in 1974 when the former municipalities of Broby, Glimåkra, Hjärsås and Knislinge were amalgamated. Hässleholm Municipality

Hässleholm Municipality (Hässleholms kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Hässleholm. The present municipality was created in 1974 when the former City of Hässleholm (itself incorporated in 1914) was amalgamated with seven surrounding municipalities. Back in 1863 there were twenty-nine local government units (all rural) in the area. The municipal coat of arms was granted in 1920 and registered for the new municipality in 1974.

Kristianstad University College

The Kristianstad University is a university college (högskola) in Kristianstad, Sweden. Established in 1977, Kristianstad University is one of the newest Swedish institutions of higher education. However, higher education in the region is much older. Teacher education can be traced back to 1835. A training course for nurses was started in 1893. Technical education was established in 1912. In 1995, Kristianstad University moved into the present main campus.

Kristianstad Municipality

Kristianstad Municipality (Kristianstads kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southernmost Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Kristianstad. The present municipality was created in three steps during the last nation-wide local government reform, and it has the largest area of the municipalities of Skåne County. In 1967 a number of rural municipalities were merged into the City of Kristianstad. In 1971 more former units were added and the city became a unitary municipality.

Trinity Church is a religious building in Kristianstad, Sweden, built between 1617 and 1628 by Christian IV of Denmark.
