Hovs Hallar

Hovs Hallar is a nature reserve on the northern tip of the Bjäre Peninsula in the county of Skåne, Sweden. It is located approximately 7 km northeast of the coastal town of Torekov. The reserve is an area of geological interest and its impressive cliff faces are home to a variety of seabirds. Båstad Municipality

Båstad Municipality (Båstads kommun) is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Båstad. The present municipality was established in 1971 when the market town Båstad was amalgamated with the surrounding rural municipalities. One parish was transferred from Halland County.

The SkiStar Swedish Open (or Swedish Open Båstad) is an ATP World Tour 250 series tennis tournament on the ATP Tour held in Båstad, Sweden in July each year. The Collector Swedish Open Women is a tennis tournament held in Båstad, Sweden. Held since 2009, this WTA Tour event is an international-level tournament and is played on outdoor clay courts.

Lervik, Båstad Municipality

Lervik is a village by the Skälderviken bay on the Bjärehalvön peninsula in Båstad Municipality. Lervik is situates north of the larger village Stora Hult. The center of Lervik is the harbour of Lervik, where only pleasure boats such as smaller sailboats and motorboats are moored. In Lervik there are a number of houses and a few summer cottages. There was a fishmonger but it closed ín the early nineties.

Hallandsås Tunnel

The Hallandsås Tunnel, also known as the Hallandsås Ridge Tunnel or Scanlink, is a railway tunnel under construction in Sweden. It will go between the north and the south side of the Hallandsås. The planned length is 8.7 km (8,722 metres in one bore, 8,710 metres in the other). It will be utilized by the West Coast Line, on the section between Ängelholm and Halmstad in southwestern Sweden.
