Västerbottens regemente

Västerbottens regemente (Västerbotten Regiment), designations I 19, I XIX, I 20 and I 20/Fo 61, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. It was disbanded in 2000. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the province of Västerbotten, and it was later garrisoned there.

Umeå Central Station

Umeå Central Station is a railway station in Umeå, Sweden. The station was designed by architect Folke Zettervall and built between 1895-96. In 2001, it was declared a byggnadsminne. Redevelopment of the area began in July 2010. The station will be closed from 7 August 2010 to 1 June 2011 and in the meantime the passenger traffic are moved to the new Umeå East Station. It is expected to be completed in autumn 2012. \t\t \t\t\tUmeå Central Station tracks.

NorrlandsOperan

The NorrlandsOperan (literally The Norrland's Opera; NOP), is a Swedish opera company in Umeå, located in Norrland, Sweden. The ownership of NOP is divided between the Umeå Municipality (40%) and the Västerbotten County Council (60%). NOP was established in 1974 as a regional opera ensemble. The NOP's first artistic director was Arnold Östman, from 1974 to 1979. NOP now has its own symphony orchestra and facilities for opera, dance, music and art as well as workshops and studios.

T3 Arena

T3 Arena, formerly known as Gammliavallen, is a multi-purpose stadium in Umeå, Sweden. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Umeå IK. The stadium holds 10,000 people. The name was changed to T3 Arena in 2011.
