Stoorn

Stoorn is a giant wooden elk (moose) planned to be built in northern Norrland in Sweden. The elk, intended as a tourist attraction, will be 45 m (148 ft) high, 47 m (154 ft) long, and will contain three floors of 500 m2 each, and one floor of 250 m2. It will hold a restaurant, conference centre and a 350-capacity concert hall. There will be a panorama deck in the antlers. Access to the body of the elk will be through an elevator in a large pine tree the elk will appear to be biting on.

Hej

Hej is a village in Jörns socken in the north-west part of Skellefteå Municipality, Västerbotten County, Sweden. The village got its name in the 19th century when a geographical surveyor played with the childish rhyme Snipp, snapp, snorum, hej basalorum. Snipp, Snapp, Snorum and Basalorum are four other villages in the vicinity. Hej has a flea market and barn dance.

Norsjö ropeway

Norsjö aerial tramway is a 13.2 kilometre long aerial tramway (cable car) between Örträsk and Mensträsk in the Norsjö Municipality in Sweden. Norsjö aerial tramway went in service for passenger traffic in 1989 as a tourist attraction. It is a section of the longest ropeway conveyor in the world at 96 km, built in the 1940s by the predecessors of Boliden AB to transport buckets of ore from Kristineberg, Lycksele to Boliden.
