Skara Municipality
Skara Municipality (Skara kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Skara. The area of the municipality consists of 16 original local government entities. The municipal reform of 1952 grouped them into four new entities. In 1971 the City of Skara was amalgamated with the rural municipalities to form the present unit.

Skara Cathedral
Skara Cathedral is a church in the Swedish city of Skara. The cathedral is the seat for the bishop of the Church of Sweden Diocese of Skara. Its history is traced from the 11th century, but its current appearance is from the 13th century. The church has a medieval crypt that was found in 1949 after having been buried under stones since the 13th century. A grave, containing a skeleton, was found in the crypt, which is within the oldest (11th century) part of the cathedral.

Katedralskolan, Skara
Katedralskolan (Meaning "Cathedral School") in Skara is one of Sweden's oldest Upper Secondary Schools. It was founded in 1641 at the initiative of the Diocese of Skara, and its bishop Jonas Magni Wexionensis, and was approved by Queen Christina on August 31 of the same year. For hundreds of years before that it had it had been a priest training school which was founded in the 13th century and the students were called Skaradjäknar. In June 1864 first student group took the final exam in Skara.

Dagsnäs Castle
Dagsnäs Castle is a castle in Sweden, located 9 kilometers south of Skara at Lake Hornborga. Over the years several runestones from the region have been moved to the castle grounds, including Vg 59 from Norra Härene, Vg 67 from Saleby, Vg 122 from Abrahamstorp, Vg 184 from Smula, and Vg 186 from Timmele.
