Hallberg-Rassy

Hallberg-Rassy AB (HR) is a Swedish shipyard internationally known for producing exclusive, high quality sailing yachts. The company's yard is located in Ellös on the island of Orust, Västra Götaland. Hallberg-Rassy yachts are designed for blue water cruising. Harry Hallberg founded his yard in 1943, and in 1965 Christoph Rassy founded a yard, in premises recently vacated by Hallberg. Hallberg-Rassy was formed when Rassy purchased the Hallberg yard after Harry Halberg's retirement in 1972.

Gåsö

Gåsö, island in the Swedish province Bohuslän, county of Lysekil. Gåsö is situated at the entrance of the fiord Gullmarn and is a part of the Gullmarn narure reserve. The Gåsö archipelago consists partly of two larger islands, Gåsö and Storön, and partly of a large number of smaller islands. The old fishing village on the main island is today only inhabited during summer, when the population reaches approx 250 people.

Lysekil Municipality

Lysekil Municipality (Lysekils kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Lysekil. The present municipality was formed in 1971, when the City of Lysekil (instituted as such in 1903) was amalgamated with Stångenäs and the island of Skaftö.

Preemraff Lysekil

Preemraff Lysekil is an oil refinery located at Brofjorden near the Swedish city of Lysekil. Originally named Scanraff, the refinery was taken into use in 1975. The site was selected because of its excellent natural harbour, and the facility can accept supertankers up to 500,000 metric tons deadweight (DWT). In 2003, the facility was acquired by Preem. Refined products are mainly transported from Preemraff using tanker ships. There is no rail connection and not so good road connection.
