Kinnekulle
Kinnekulle is a hill or ridge in the province of Västergötland, Sweden. It is located on the eastern shore of lake Vänern. Its highest point is 306 metres above sea level. The Kinnekulle Ring is a popular nearby racetrack. The historic town and church of Husaby are located on the south side of the Kinnekulle. Olof Skötkonung, the first Christian King of Sweden, was, tradition says, baptized here in 1008 at a well located just north of the church.

Götene Municipality
Götene Municipality (Götene kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Götene. When the first Swedish local government acts went into force in 1863, 20 rural municipal entities (each corresponding to a parish of the Church of Sweden) were created in the area. The municipal reform of 1952 grouped them into three new, larger, units. These were amalgamated in 1967 to form the present municipality.

Husaby
Husaby, near Kinnekulle, is a village belonging to Götene Municipality in the province of Västergötland, Sweden. It is most known for the old stone church Husaby Church. Olof Skötkonung, the first Christian king of Sweden, is rumoured to have allowed himself to be baptised at a well by the church in 1008. During the 11th century, it was a wooden church. The tower was built in the late 11th century, and in the early 12th century the stone church.

Läckö Castle
Läckö Castle is a medieval castle in Sweden. Läckö Castle is best known as Magnus de la Gardie's magnificent castle on the shores of Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden. Brynolf Algotsson, Bishop of Skara, laid the foundations for a fortified castle in 1298 originally as a fort that consisted of two or three houses surrounded by a wall. After a fire during the 1470s, the fort was expanded by bishop Brynolf Gerlachsson. After the reformation in 1527, King Gustav Vasa took possession.
