The Bjärby Runestones are two Viking Age memorial runestones located near Grästorp, Sweden, in Bjärby synod, which was in the historic province of Västergötland. The two stones are memorials to men who held the titles thegn and drengr, and one has a depiction of the hammer of the Norse pagen deity Thor.

Grästorp Municipality (Grästorps kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Grästorp. Grästorp Municipality is located right in the middle of Västra Götaland County, by the shores of Lake Vänern. In the year 1900 the village Grästorp was detached from Tengene and made a market town. Diabasbrottet Quarry
The Diabasbrottet Quarry, located on Mt. Hunneberg, Västergötland, Sweden, is the location of the Global Boundary Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP) which marks the lower boundary of the Floian stage of the Lower Ordovician. The lower boundary of the Floian is defined as the first appearance of Tetragraptus approximatus, a graptolite species. The rock section, dominated by shale, is unusually fossiliferous, including fossilized remains of graptolites, conodonts, and trilobites.
