Dyngö

Dyngö is a small island in the archipelago of Sweden's west coast, located in the province (landskap) of Bohuslän, near the village Fjällbacka. Formerly a fishing community, the island now has few or no permanent inhabitants, hosting instead a number of summer residents. In the 1950s one prominent summer resident was Per Nyström, the then county governor of the provinces of Bohuslän and Gothenburg.

Väderöarna

Väderöarna (the Weather Islands) are in Western Sweden, near Hamburgsund, easily accessible by a 30-minute boat ride from Fjallbacka. The warm yet gusty climate means lush vegetation as well as a barren, exposed landscape. The ethos of the islands is wellness: “Andas in, andas ut, njuut!’ – breathe in, breathe out, enjoy!”

Greby

The Greby grave field is an Iron Age grave field in western Sweden. It is located north of Grebbestad, Tanum Municipality in Västra Götaland County. With its over 180 graves, it is the largest site of this kind in Bohuslän. According to legends, Greby is the resting place of the Scottish warriors who once pillaged Tanum.

Nordens Ark

Nordens Ark (Ark of the North) is a zoo located on the 383-hectare Åby Manor in Bohuslän, Sweden. Nordens Ark was opened in 1989 and is operated by the Nordens Ark Foundation . Nordens Ark is on the west coast of Sweden, not to far from the border to Norway. Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, was appointed as Nordens Ark Supreme Protector in 1989.
