Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park

Phra Nakhon Khiri is a historical park in Phetchaburi, Thailand, located on a hill overlooking the city. The name Phra Nakhon Khiri means Holy City Hill, but locals know it better as Khao Wang, meaning hill with palace. The park consists of three building groups, located on the three peaks of the 92m high hill. On the western peak is the actual palace with adjoining structures. The middle or central peak is a big chedi named Phra That Chom Phet.

Phetchaburi Province

Phetchaburi is one of the central provinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Prachuap Khiri Khan. In the west it borders Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar.

Phetchaburi

Phetchaburi is a town in southern Thailand, capital of the Phetchaburi Province. In Thai, Phetchaburi means city of diamonds (buri meaning city in sanskrit). It is approximately 160km south of Bangkok, at the northern end of the Thai Peninsula. As of 2005, the town has a population of 26,181 and covers the two tambon Tha Rap and Khlong Krachaeng. The Phetchaburi River runs through the middle of the city. The region is mostly flat, save for a hill (called Khao Wang) on the outskirts of town.

Kaeng Krachan Circuit

Opened in 2010, Kaeng Krachan Circuit is the longest race track in Thailand. The track has 3 configurations: a full course of 2.912 km. , a medium course of 2.400 km. , and a short course of 1.004 km. Elevation changes including uphill and downhill turns, increasing and decreasing radius curves, high and low speed turns are included. The layout in a valley enables spectators to see the entire circuit.
