Neighbouring provinces are (from north clockwise) Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and Phetchaburi. In the west it borders Tanintharyi Division of Myanmar. Ratchaburi means, "The land of the king. " The province is full of cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes and historical sites.
