Neiafu (Vava'u)
Neiafu is the second-largest town in Tonga with a population of about 6,000. It is situated beside the Port of Refuge, a deep-water harbour on the south coast of Vava'u, the main island of the Vava'u archipelago in northern Tonga. To the north-west lies the 131m high Mt. Talau with its distinctive flat top. Neiafu is the administrative centre of the Vava'u group and has government offices, banks, schools, a police station and a hospital.

Pangaimotu
Pangaimotu is an island, and the name of the island's largest village. It is located in the Vava'u Group of Tonga, and is reachable in a half hour boat trip from Neiafu, the capital of the Vava'u district. Aside from the beaches, a centrepiece of the island's attraction is wreck jumping from the hull of the upturned ship 50 metres off the island's main beach.

Vaimalo
Vaimalō, is a village in the western district of Vavaʻu in Tonga. Vaimalō was named by one of the most revered and beloved chiefs in Vava'u's history the great Finau Fisi. The village became the sole estate of his only child and son Naufahu Mapilitoa. In 1781 right off the coast of Longomapu, it was Finau Fisi in his double hulled war canoe the Talito'a who met the Spaniard explorer Don Francisco Antonio Mourelle the first European to discover Vava'u.

'Ene'io Botanical Garden
The ‘Ene’io Botanical Garden (EBG) is a botanical garden in Tonga and is the first of its kind there. It has the largest and most varied plant collection in the Kingdom of Tonga. The botanical garden is located in Vava'u, 10 minutes from Neiafu. It consists of 22 acres of privately owned gardens and was developed in 1972 by Haniteli Fa’anunu.
