Akçay

Akçay is a municipality in the Edremit district of Balıkesir Province in western Turkey. It is located in the Edremit Bay at the coast of north-eastern Aegean Sea, across the Greek island Mitilini. Akçay is 10 km west of Edremit on the highway D560 (E-87) to Altınoluk. With its long beach and clear sea, it is a highly popular summer resort for domestic tourists. Its population grows around 10-fold in the summer season.

Havran is a town and district of Balıkesir Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. According to the 2010 census, population of the district is 28,050 of which 10,766 live in the town of Havran. The district covers an area of 543 km, and the town lies at an elevation of 44 m .

Antandrus

Antandrus was a Greek city on the north side of the Gulf of Adramyttium in the Troad region of Anatolia. Its surrounding territory was known in Greek as Ἀντανδρία (Antandria), and included the towns of Aspaneus on the coast and Astyra to the east. It has been located on Devren hill between the modern village of Avcılar and the town of Altınoluk in the Edremit district of Balıkesir province, Turkey.
