Gelevara Deresi

Gelevara Deresi is one of two main streams of Espiye, a district of Giresun province in the eastern Black Sea region of Turkey. Its two main tributaries arise in the highlands of Espiye district of Giresun and Torul district of Gümüşhane. In the west its shorter arm originates from Çekümbeli highland near Tohumluk village. Its longer arm starts in Tekçam-Kürünbeli spring in Hanzara Obası and Ayıbeli Deresi in Ayıbeli Obası.

Soğukpınar, Giresun

Soğukpınar (literally "cool fountain") is a town in Espiye district of Giresun Province, Turkey. It is situated in the forests to the west of Harşit creek at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|54|N|38|50|E||| | |name= }}. The distance to Espiye is 18 kilometres . The population of Soğukpınar is 2,253 as of 2011. According to the earliest reference to the settlement as of 1530, the former name of Soğukpınar was Dikmen-Döğer referring to a Turkish tribe.

Duroğlu

Duroğlu is a town in the central district of Giresun Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:40|51|N|38|28|E||| | |name= }} Duroğlu is situated along the Aksu River. It is 8 kilometres north of Giresun and the Black Sea coast. The population of Duroğlu was 2497 as of 2011. The town which is thought to be five centuries old was probably a caravan stop between the Black Sea coast and Central Anatolia in the historical times.

Giresun Island

Giresun Island is a small island that has an area of 4 hectares and lies 1.2 km from the Turkish city of Giresun on the southeastern coast of Black Sea. It is the largest island on the Turkish Black Sea coast. The ruins of a roofless stone temple, fortifications, and two wine or oil presses stand on the island. The island's ancient names are Aretias, Ares, Areos Nesos and Puga.

Harşit River
