Hrazdan River

The Hrazdan is a major river of Armenia. It starts at the northwest extremity of Lake Sevan and flows south through the Province of Kotayk and Armenia's capital, Yerevan. Baghramyan (Armenian: Բաղրամյան, also Romanized as Bagramyan and Baghramian; formerly, Bashnalu) is a town in the Ararat Province of Armenia. The town is named in honor of Hovhannes Bagramyan, Marshal of the Soviet Union.
