Uzunada

Uzunada or Uzun ada (literally "long island") is an island situated at the entry of the Gulf of İzmir on the west coast of Turkey. It is situated between the Karaburun Peninsula, Turkey in the west, and the district of Foça in the east. Stretching over a length of c. 9 km in north-south direction, it is Turkey's fourth largest island, and its third largest in the Aegean Sea.

Akça

Akça is a Turkish island shaped like a shellfish near the biggest city of the Turkish Aegean coast Izmir. It is an uninhabited island and there are only bushes on the island. It is situated between Arap Islands, Yassıca, Çiçek Islands, Körtaş Islands and İncirli Island. It is off the coast of Port of Urla. It is a small island surrounded with turquoise waters, thus it is a swimming spot for the residents of Izmir in summertime. The Greek name for Akça was Nisida Patates.

Gulf of İzmir

The Gulf of İzmir, formerly known as the Gulf of Smyrna, is a gulf on the Aegean Sea, with its inlet between the peninsula of Karaburun and the mainland area of Foça. It is 40 miles (32 km) in length by 20 miles (16 km) in breadth, with an excellent anchorage. The city of Izmir, an important Turkish seaport, surrounds the end of this gulf. Levent Marina is the only marina inside the city of İzmir. On the southern shore 38º 24' 40 N 27º 04' 01 E coordinates.

Limantepe

The town of Limantepe, sometimes spelled Liman Tepe, on Turkey's western coast is the site a prehistoric settlement that includes an ancient port dating from 2500 years located underwater offshore. The area is situated in the urban zone of the coastal town of Urla near İzmir. The harbor settlement was inhabited starting from 6000 years ago and was equipped with a fortification wall partially submerged in the sea.
