Karapınar Field

Karapınar is a volcanic field located in central Turkey, near the city of Karapınar. The basaltic Karapınar volcanic field consists of five cinder cones, two lava fields and several explosion craters and maars. The 300-m-high Meke Dağı, surrounded by the Meke Golu crater lake, is one of the largest cinder cones in Central Anatolia.

Boyalıtepe, Karaman

Boyalıtepe (former Gameni or Kamani) is a village in the central district of Karaman Province, Turkey. At {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:37|29|N|33|17|E||| | |name= }} it is situated to the east of Karadağ an excint volcano. Its distance to Karaman is 39 kilometres . The population of the village was 321 as of 2011. The village was founded in the 18th century by Bekdik tribe of Turkmens who had migrated from Kaman. The former name Gamani may refer to Kaman.
