Çatalpınar is a town and district of Ordu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey, 56 km from the city of Ordu and 20 km from the town of Fatsa. Terme River

The Terme River is in the border of Terme district, located in central northern Turkey between the cities of Ordu and Samsun. The river flows about 50 km east of the coastal city Samsun into the Black Sea. The region consists of a fertile, rather secluded, plain. High mountains can be found to the south and east, and the Yeşil River flows in the west. In Greek mythology, the legendary capital of the Amazons, Themiscyra, was found on the river Thermodon.
