The Beccles bell tower is a free-standing Grade I listed edifice associated with the adjacent St. Michael's church in the market town of Beccles, Suffolk, England. It stands near the edge of a cliff overlooking the River Waveney, the bell tower rises an additional 97 feet and is thirty feet square (9m) at its base. It dominates the town as well as the surrounding countryside, much of which is comprised by The Broads National Park.

Somerleyton railway station
Somerleyton railway station is a quiet rural two-platform station serving the village of Somerleyton in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England. It is less than two miles on foot from Somerleyton Hall which is open to the public. In The Rings of Saturn the author W. G. Sebald describes travelling by rail from Norwich and crossing the line to walk to the Hall. Actually, he would not have needed to cross the line from that direction.

Roos Hall
Roos Hall (or sometimes Rose Hall) is a manor house and former manor ½ a mile (¾km) west of Beccles in Suffolk. It is a Grade I listed building. It is said to be among the most haunted houses in England. It was owned by the Suckling family in the 17th century having been bought by Sir John Suckling in 1600. It subsequently passed to the Rich family following the marriage between Sir John Suckling's widow and Sir Edwin Rich.

Haddiscoe railway station
Haddiscoe railway station is a railway station in the English county of Norfolk on the Wherry Lines operated by Greater Anglia. It is named after the village of Haddiscoe, some 2 miles distant, although the village of St. Olaves on the other side of the River Waveney is rather closer. The station is remote, positioned as it is at the end of ⁄4-mile minor road off the main road. A car park is provided.
