Langrick railway station

Langrick railway station was a station in Langrick, Lincolnshire on the line between Boston and Lincoln. The site of the old station house is now occupied by Langrick Station Cafe. The possibility that the building now standing is a much-converted original station house has been disputed. The building does however stand on the same axis as the original, on Ferry Lane, in Langrick. The station had two brick platforms immediately east of the level crossing on Ferry Road.

Kitwood Boys School

Kitwood Boys School was a Secondary modern school for boys which began life in the early 1950s as part of the new Attlee Labour government's education programme (as did the nearby Kitwood Girls School). Initially the school provided an education to those not attaining higher Grammar School standards. Despite a brief period in the late 70s and early 1980s which gave the school a bad name, the school was merged with the girls school in September 1992 and lost many of its staff.

Boston Priory

Boston Priory was a priory in Boston, Lincolnshire, England. The origins of Saint Botolphs church in Boston have their roots in the former priory church of the Benedictine monastery. The first church of St Botolph was granted to Saint Marys Abbey, York, shortly after 1089 and a priory of monks was constituted. The foundations of this first church were discovered during restoration work on the north side of the church 1851-3.
