Sibsey Rural District

Sibsey was a rural district in Lincolnshire, Parts of Lindsey from 1894 to 1936. It was formed in 1894 from that part of the Boston rural sanitary district which in Lindsey. It included the parishes of Sibsey, Carrington, Frithville, Langriville, Seven Acres, Thornton le Fen, and Westville. The district was abolished in 1936 under a County Review Order. The bulk became part of Spilsby Rural District with part of a couple of parishes going to Boston Rural District.

Langrick railway station

Langrick railway station was a station in Langrick, Lincolnshire on the line between Boston and Lincoln. The site of the old station house is now occupied by Langrick Station Cafe. The possibility that the building now standing is a much-converted original station house has been disputed. The building does however stand on the same axis as the original, on Ferry Lane, in Langrick. The station had two brick platforms immediately east of the level crossing on Ferry Road.

Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is a historic county in the east of England. It borders Norfolk to the south east, Cambridgeshire to the south, Rutland to the south west, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire to the west, South Yorkshire to the northwest, and the East Riding of Yorkshire to the north. It also borders Northamptonshire in the south for just 20 yards, England's shortest county boundary. The county town is Lincoln, where the county council has its headquarters.

Tumby Woodside railway station was a station on the former Great Northern Railway between Firsby and Lincoln. It served the village of Tumby Woodside in Lincolnshire, England until closure in 1970. The station was immortalised in 1964 in the song "Slow Train" by Flanders and Swann. New Bolingbroke railway station is a former station in New Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire. The station was built by the Midville and Kirkstead Railway.
