Revesby Abbey

Revesby Abbey was a Cistercian monastery located near the village of Revesby in Lincolnshire, England. The abbey was founded in 1143 by William de Roumare, Earl of Lincoln. The first monks came to the abbey from the great Yorkshire house of Rievaulx Abbey. They were led by Aelred of Rievaulx, a former courtier who was to go on to become abbot of Rievaulx itself and a noted historian and theologian. He eventually became a saint.

St Benedict's Church, Haltham-on-Bain

St Benedict's Church, Haltham-on-Bain, is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Haltham-on-Bain, Lincolnshire, England. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It stands between the River Bain and the A153 road connecting Horncastle with Coningsby.

Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre

The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, is an aviation museum in East Kirkby, Lincolnshire, England. It was opened to the public in 1988 by Lincolnshire farmers Fred and Harold Panton, as a memorial to their older brother, Christopher Witton Panton, who lost his life during the Second World War.
