Debach

Debach is a small village about four miles northwest of Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK. At the time of the Domesday Book, 1086, it was called Debenbeis or Debeis, Depebecs, Debec or Debes and located in the Hundred of Wilford. The book lists the landowners there at that time as Count Alan, Roger Bigot - the Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk, and Sturstan son of Widdow and Roger de Poitou from him, The Bishop of Bayeux, William de Warenne, Geoffrey de Mandeville and Ranulph Peveril.

Bredfield House

Bredfield House (or White House as it was also known) was situated in the village of Bredfield, around 2 miles north of Woodbridge, Suffolk, England, United Kingdom. It was a Jacobean building and was traditionally the seat of the Jenney family. It is best known as the birthplace Edward FitzGerald (31 March 1809 – 14 June 1883), who went on to translate the Rubàiyàt of Omar Khayyàm.

Seckford Hall

Seckford Hall is a Tudor period house in Seckford Hall Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk. In the same road are Seckford Golf Club and Seckford Farm. The Hall was the family home of Thomas Seckford and is now a luxury hotel, which is said to contain furniture that was once used in Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, including the very chair that King Henry VII was said to have died in. The Seckford Hotel was acquired by the Bunn family in 1950 establishing it as a first class hotel and restaurant.

Woodbridge School

Woodbridge School is an independent school in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England, founded in 1577, for the poor of Woodbridge. It was later supported by the Seckford Foundation. Woodbridge School has been co-educational since 1975.
