Bursledon railway station

Bursledon railway station serves the village of Bursledon in Hampshire, England. It is on the West Coastway Line. The station is operated by South West Trains, who provide the majority of trains serving it (the exception being a peak-period service operated by Southern). The station itself is located near a quay side on the River Hamble where a number of yachts are moored. The M27 crosses the water near the station.

Sholing F.C

Sholing F.C. is a semi-professional football club based in Sholing in Southampton, Hampshire, England. In 2010, they changed their name from VT F.C. to its present name. They won the Hampshire League twice in their history. In the 2008–09 season, they reached the 4th round of the FA Vase. They are currently members of the Southern League Division One South & West.

Hamble railway station

Hamble railway station is an unstaffed railway station near the village of Hamble-le-Rice, England. It is served by a 2-track electrified line which joins the Southampton to London main line, in the direction of Southampton at St Denys in Southampton, and joins the line running east from Eastleigh at Fareham. Stopping services between Portsmouth and Southampton call at Hamble station approximately hourly. The station is adjacent to a bridge carrying Hamble Lane.

Grace Dieu (ship)

Grace Dieu was launched in 1418 as the flagship of Henry V of England and was one of the largest ships of her time. She sailed on only one voyage, and spent most of her life laid up in the River Hamble, where in 1439 she was struck by a bolt of lightning and burnt.

Netley railway station

Netley railway station is a railway station near the village of Netley in Hampshire, England. The station is run by South West Trains and is on the West Coastway Line. Near to the station is Royal Victoria Country Park. In former times a branch from the station conveyed patients to nearby Netley Hospital.
