North West Leicestershire is a local government district in Leicestershire, England. Its main towns are Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Coalville. The district contains East Midlands Airport, which operates flights to the rest of Britain and to various places in Europe. It is also notable as the location of Castle Donington and Donington Park, a grand-prix circuit and a major venue for music festivals. Fox and Goose Ground

The Fox and Goose Sports Ground was a sports ground attached to the Fox & Goose public house (now demolished) in Coalville, Leicestershire. Many sports events were held there and there were two first class circket games completed at the ground. The home team being Leicestershire County Cricket Club and the away team on both occasions, being Worcestershire County Cricket Club. Leicestershire won both games. The games were held in 1913 and 1914. The area is now being redeveloped.

Snibston Colliery Ground

The Snibston Colliery Ground is a cricket stadium based in the town of Coalville, Leicestershire. It has also known as the North West Leicestershire Miners Welfare Centre, and is the home of Snibston Grange CC. It has, in the past, been used by Leicestershire as an outground and has held 9 games in total. 8 First class games and a single one day game. The first game took place in 1957 against Glamorgan and the last in 1982 against Derbyshire.

The Town Ground is a cricket stadium based on Broom Leys Road, Coalville, Leicestershire, England. There was only ever one first class county cricket game here, which was held in 1950. The game involved Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Warwickshire won the game by 6 wickets. This is the home ground to Broomleys Cricket Club.
