Town Ground, Coalville
The Town Ground is a cricket stadium based on Broom Leys Road, Coalville, Leicestershire, England. There was only ever one first class county cricket game here, which was held in 1950. The game involved Leicestershire and Warwickshire. Warwickshire won the game by 6 wickets. This is the home ground to Broomleys Cricket Club.

Whitwick
Whitwick is a village in Leicestershire, England and is an ancient parish which formerly included the equally historic villages of Thringstone and Swannington. It was an important manor in the Middle Ages, which once included Bardon and Markfield, parts of Hugglescote, Donington le Heath, Ratby, Bocheston, Newtown Unthank and Whittington. As early as 1293, Whitwick had a weekly market and a four day fair. The population of Whitwick, according to the 2001 census is 10,815 persons.

Fox and Goose Ground
The Fox and Goose Sports Ground was a sports ground attached to the Fox & Goose public house (now demolished) in Coalville, Leicestershire. Many sports events were held there and there were two first class circket games completed at the ground. The home team being Leicestershire County Cricket Club and the away team on both occasions, being Worcestershire County Cricket Club. Leicestershire won both games. The games were held in 1913 and 1914. The area is now being redeveloped.

Mount St Bernard Abbey
Mount St Bernard's Abbey is a Cistercian monastery of the Strict Observance near Whitwick in Leicestershire, England, founded in 1835. Its present Superior is Dom Joseph Delargy. The Cistercian order dates back to the 12th century and the Trappists to the mid-17th century. Mount St Bernard's Abbey is the only abbey belonging to this order left in England.

West Goscote
West Goscote was a hundred of Leicestershire, that arose from the division of the ancient Goscote hundred into two. It covers the north west of the county, an area broadly corresponding to the western part of Charnwood district along with North West Leicestershire. The hundred's main town was Loughborough. Other settlements include Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville and Overseal. The hundred was created by the subdivision of the Goscote hundred in 1346.
