Shepherds Well railway station serves Shepherdswell in Kent. It is served by Southeastern. It is adjacent to the terminus of the East Kent heritage line, which is spelt as one word, Shepherdswell. The mainline station and the line it serves were built by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway.

The East Kent Railway (EKR) is a short heritage railway in Kent, England. It is located at Shepherdswell station on the London to Dover Priory direct mainline. The line was constructed from 1911 to 1917 to serve a local colliery at Tilmanstone. See East Kent Light Railway for details of the original lines. The line is operated by heritage diesel locomotives designed for the Southern Region.

Eythorne Baptist Church
Eythorne Baptist Church originated in the meetings of early 16th century Baptists who had crossed the English Channel from the low countries to Kent to escape persecution. 19th century Baptist writer J. J. Goadby named Eythorne as one of the three "most ancient Baptist churches in England". For many years the Church had associated village chapels in east Kent. Two of these remain- at Adisham and Nonington. Others were at Eastry,Ashley,Woolage Green,Wootton and Barnsole.

Lydden Hill Race Circuit
Lydden Hill Race Circuit (formerly known as Lydden Circuit) is the UK's shortest road racing circuit (many shorter oval tracks exist) at exactly one mile (= 1.609 km), based at Wootton about half-way between Canterbury and Dover in Kent. The track is mainly used for rallycross, drift, saloon and sports car racing as well as motorcycle racing. It may be only a mile long, but Lydden is a testing circuit, with many undulation changes.
