Kearsney railway station

Kearsney railway station serves Kearsney in Kent. It is served by Southeastern. The station and the line it serves were built by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway as the station for Temple Ewell and the parish of River. The community of Kearsney grew around the Railway Bell Hotel which was on the main Dover to London road. The station had a small goods siding, and a siding for passenger trains.

Dover Priory railway station

Dover Priory railway station is the main station in Dover in Kent, England, with the other currently open station being Kearsney situated on the outskirts of Dover. (See this list for the other now-closed stations). All train services are provided by Southeastern. It is located in the south-east corner of the UK rail network.

Dover College

Dover College is a co-educational private school in Dover in southeast England. It was founded in 1871, and takes both day pupils and boarders. The school occupies some of the medieval buildings of Dover Priory, on a site just east of the eponymous railway station.

Dover Priory

The Priory of St. Mary the Virgin and St. Martin of the New Work, or Newark, commonly called Dover Priory, was a priory at Dover in southeast England. It was variously independent in rule, then occupied by canons regular of the Augustinian rule, then finally monks of the Benedictine rule as a cell of Christchurch Monastery, Canterbury. The priory was located just east of what is now Dover Priory railway station, in fact the railway was built on the western part of the site.
