Risley Moss
Risley Moss is an area of peat bog situated near Birchwood in Warrington, England. It covers an area of 210.5 acres (85.2 ha) and is one of the last remaining fragments of the raised bogs that once covered large areas of South Lancashire and North Cheshire. Natural depressions in the glacial drift left by the ice sheets which covered the Cheshire–Shropshire plain during the last ice age, 10,000–15,000 years ago, filled with water, forming the meres and mosses characteristic of the area today.

Grange Industrial Estate
The Grange Industrial Estate is an area of warehousing and employment in Warrington, England. The largest of these was the Safeway warehouse until it was taken over by Morrisons in January 2006 and the large bank vault of the former Midland Bank. The Estate borders the civil parish of Woolston. The estate was created in its present location in proximity to the M6, M62 and M56 motorway networks. It also borders Woolston Park and is close to the suburbs of Longbarn and Birchwood.

Martinscroft
Martinscroft is a part of the civil parish of Woolston in Warrington, Cheshire, England. It is rumoured that Battery Lane in the village got its name from where Oliver Cromwell stored his weapons during his visit in the civil war. Martinscroft Green is the village green and is also a popular place for recreational activities. It recently has been enlarged by new housing estates and the building of a hotel, although it has a few old cottages still along the village green.

Woolston Park
Woolston Park is a modern park that is situated in the civil parish of Woolston, Warrington in the English county of Cheshire. Woolston Park covers 56 acres (230,000 m²) and was officially opened in 1977. It was created from neglected farmland to provide a valuable refuge for people and wildlife amongst the rapidly expanding local community. Running through the middle of the "linear" section runs "Spittle Brook", a small stream often polluted with chemicals from the Grange Industrial Estate.
