Dowdeswell
Dowdeswell is a civil parish in the ward of Chedworth, Cotswold, in the ceremonial county of Gloucestershire, England. It is separated into Upper and Lower Dowdeswell, the former being south of the latter. About 7.1 km (4.4 mi) to the northwest is Cheltenham, and 19 km (12 mi) to the west is Gloucester. In 2001, it had a population of 185.

Shipton, Gloucestershire
The twin villages of Shipton Oliffe and Shipton Solars are situated just 7 miles from Cheltenham. The River Coln, just a tiny stream at this point, flows through the village over two fords and innumerable little water splashes, creating ornamental lakes in private properties. The name Shipton, meaning "sheep farmstead", indicates that sheep farming occurred here long before the Norman invasion. The Domesday Book refers to two manors, Oliffe and Solers, each with its own church.

Withington is a Cotswold village in Gloucestershire, England, about eight miles south-east of Cheltenham, and nine miles north of Cirencester. The River Coln runs through the village. The parish church is St Michael and All Angels. The origin of the name Withington is unclear but it is found in records as early as 737 AD .
