Bradford Moor
Bradford Moor is an electoral ward in the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. It is in the BD3 postcode area. The ward covers the areas of Bradford known as Bradford Moor, Laisterdyke and Thornbury. It is bordered on the west by Barkerend and the south by Bowling (both part of the same ward); on the north side is Eccleshill ward and on the east is the Pudsey area of Leeds. The direct route between the centers of Bradford and Leeds passes through the middle of the ward.

River Spen
The River Spen is a river in the county of West Yorkshire, England and is a tributary of the River Calder. It rises north of Cleckheaton, runs through Liversedge and flows into the River Calder, West Yorkshire south of Dewsbury at Ravensthorpe. The average rainfall for the river valley is between 600-1000mm per annum. Combined with the steep narrow river channel, this makes the Spen susceptible to regular flooding.

Barley Mow, Bramley
Barley Mow was a former home ground of the Bramley Rugby League Club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England who moved there in 1881, just two years after their foundation. The club used the nearby Barley Mow public house as changing rooms. In 1907 Barley Mow became the first ground to stage a club match against the touring New Zealanders. In 2007, a blue plaque was added to the Barley Mow pub to mark the anniversary of the tour match.

Pudsey Beck
Pudsey Beck borders Fulneck, and Tong Village, in West Yorkshire, England. It runs through Park Woods and Fulneck Golf Club. It is part of the Leeds Country Way. In the late 19th Century, Pudsey Beck is said to have had the largest man made embankment in Europe built across it in order to connect the Pudsey railway with Bradford.1
