Avenue House
Avenue House is a large Victorian house situated on East End Road in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. Built in 1859 on land formerly known as Temple Croft Field, it was acquired in 1874 by ink magnate and philanthropist Henry Charles Stephens who later enlarged and improved the house and grounds with advice from well-known landscape gardener Robert Marnock (1800-1889).

Leo Baeck College
Leo Baeck College is a rabbinical seminary and centre for the training of teachers in Jewish education, which is based at the Sternberg Centre, East End Road, in north London. It was founded in 1956 by Rabbi Dr Werner van der Zyl for the training of Liberal and Reform rabbis and named in honour of his teacher, Dr Leo Baeck, the inspirational twentieth century German Liberal rabbi. Rabbinic ordinations from Leo Baeck College are recognised worldwide by the Liberal, Reform and Masorti movements.

Victoria Park, Barnet
Victoria Park is in Church End in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. It covers 7 hectares (17 acres). It is close to Finchley Central and West Finchley tube stations. Much of the park was originally part of Colby's Farm, where Charles Dickens wrote part of Martin Chuzzlewit. In 1887 Henry Stephens proposed converting the area to a park to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, but it was not opened until 1902, a year after Victoria's death.

College Farm
College Farm is the last farm in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. It currently trades as an equestrian and pet store. It is located in Regents Park Road, close to Henlys Corner. In 1868 George Barham, founder of Express Dairies, leased Sheephouse Farm, a property of about 97 acres . In 1882/83 he had it rebuilt by Fredrick Chancellor as a model dairy farm, renaming it College Farm after the nearby Christ's College.

Finchley was a local government district in Middlesex, England, from 1878 to 1965. It formed part of the northern suburbs of London and was within the Metropolitan Police District and London Passenger Transport Area. Its former area now forms part of the London Borough of Barnet.
