Blackpool North (UK Parliament constituency)

Blackpool North was a borough constituency in Lancashire which returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was created for the 1945 general election, when the former constituency of Blackpool was split in two, and abolished for the 1997 general election. It was then largely replaced by the new Blackpool North & Fleetwood constituency.

Millfield High School

Millfield Science and Performing Arts College (known as Millfield High School up until 2005) is a mixed comprehensive school located in Thornton, Lancashire, England. Millfield has around 800 pupils, aged 11 to 16. Its head teacher is Mr S. Bullen. It also changes it motto every 5 years. As the previous motto "Success For All" was created in 2006 the school have come up with a new motto "Creating Bright Futures". It was also school of the year for 2013 in the Evening Gazette.

Poulton-le-Fylde

Poulton-le-Fylde, commonly abbreviated to Poulton, is a market town in Lancashire, England, situated on the coastal plain called the Fylde. As of the 2001 United Kingdom census, it had a population of 18,264. There is evidence of human habitation in the area from 12,000 years ago and several archaeological finds from Roman settlement in England have been found in the area. At the time of the Norman conquest of England Poulton was a small agricultural settlement in the hundred of Amounderness.
