Hayes and Harlington Urban District

Hayes (from 1930 Hayes and Harlington) was a local government district in west Middlesex, England from 1904 to 1965. It was originally created in 1904 as an urban district, Hayes Urban District, covering the Hayes parish transferred from Uxbridge Rural District. In 1930 it acquired the parishes of Cranford and Harlington from the disbanded Staines Rural District and at the same time, its name was changed to Hayes and Harlington Urban District.

Middlesex

Middlesex is a former county in southeast England. It was established in antiquity from the territory of the Middle Saxons. Proximate to the United Kingdom capital city of London, the small county became densely populated, leading to problems with its viability. It was subject to a significant loss of territory in 1889 and was abolished on 1 April 1965. The former area of Middlesex now corresponds to much of Greater London and parts of Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey.

A.F.C. Hayes

A.F.C. Hayes is a non-league English football club based in Hayes, Greater London, and founded in 1974. The club was known until 2007 as Brook House F.C. and currently plays in the Southern Football League Division One Central. Their current manager is Ian Crane – the former Harefield United boss – who replaced Danny Vincent who resigned, in June 2012.

Uxbridge F.C

Uxbridge Football Club are a football club representing Uxbridge but now based in West Drayton, in the London Borough of Hillingdon England. They were established in 1871 and are one of the oldest clubs in the South of England. They were founder members of the Southern League Division Two in 1894 and have reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup once; in the 1873–74 season. The club is affiliated to the Middlesex County Football Association and is a FA chartered standard club.
