Horsebridge railway station

Horsebridge was a railway station on the closed Sprat and Winkle Line which served the Hampshire village of Houghton. It closed in 1964, a casualty of the closure programme proposed by the Beeching Axe which sounded the death knell for many rural railway stations.

Ashley Castle

Ashley Castle was in the small village of Ashley, Hampshire. It was built in 1138 on the site of a former Iron Age fort by Henry de Blois. It was slighted in 1155, but was then repaired and used until the middle of the 15th century as a palace by the Bishops of Winchester. It was abandoned in the 17th century. Only the earthworks, the remains of the gatehouse and curtain wall remain.

Stockbridge Football Club is an English football club based in Stockbridge, Hampshire. The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association, and is a FA Charter Standard club.
