Sharnbrook Summit
Sharnbrook Summit and Wymington Meadow is a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. It lies above the Midland Main Line, between the Bedfordshire villages of Wymington and Souldrop and even though the name suggests it is in the village of Sharnbrook it is not.

Sharnbrook railway station
Sharnbrook railway station was opened in 1857 by the Midland Railway to serve the village of Sharnbrook in Bedfordshire, England. It was on the Midland's extension from Leicester to Bedford and Hitchin. It was situated near to Sharnbrook Summit. Here, originally there was a 1 in 119 gradient from the south taking the line to 340 feet above sea level. Around 1880, the line was quadrupled, with the new goods tracks taken through Sharnbrook Tunnel.

RAF Chelveston
RAF Chelveston was a military airfield located on the south side of the A645, 5 miles east of Wellingborough, near the village of Chelveston in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. During World War II the airfield was occupied by both the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces. It was given USAAF designation Station 105.

Santa Pod Raceway
Santa Pod Raceway, in Northamptonshire, England, opened at Easter in 1966, is Europe's first permanent drag racing venue. It was built on a disused World War II American air base, RAF Podington, once used by the 92nd Bomber Group. It is now the home of European drag racing and has grown substantially over its 40-year existence. It hosts both the first and last round of the FIA and FIM/UEM European Drag Racing Championship, along with the British National Drag Racing Championships.
