Ribble Link

The Millennium Ribble Link is a Linear Water Park and new navigation which links the once-isolated Lancaster Canal in Lancashire, England to the River Ribble. It was opened in July 2002. "The Recipient shall ensure that the participation of the (Millennium) Commission is publicised in all public statements or announcements, and in all promotional activity concerning the Project in accordance with guidelines prescribed by the Commission".

Salwick

Salwick is a village between Kirkham and Preston in Lancashire, England. The village is largely rural and is an extension of the smaller Clifton to the south. It is in the borough of Fylde, and in the Parliamentary Constituency of Fylde, and forms part of the civil parish of Newton with Clifton. It is at grid reference SD466320, and is served by Salwick railway station. The area of "Clifton With Salwick" was in the Archdeaconry of Richmond in the Diocese of Chester.

Ribble Steam Railway

|} The Ribble Steam Railway is a standard gauge preserved railway in Lancashire, in the United Kingdom. It was opened to the public on 17 September 2005, running along Preston Docks,. The railway began by housing much of the collection from the previously-closed Southport Railway Museum (Steamport), which was based in the old Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway engine shed at Southport (BR shed code 27C).

Ribble Way

The Ribble way is a long distance walk between the Lancashire coast and the Yorkshire Dales National Park largely following the course of the River Ribble. The route begins in Longton and ends at the source of the Ribble at Gayle Moor near Ribblehead, it is around 116 kilometres in length. The route passes through a variety of landscapes including tidal marsh, open moorland and limestone gorges.
