Settle-Carlisle Line

The Settle–Carlisle Line (S&C) is a 73-mile long main railway line in northern England. It is also known as the Settle and Carlisle. Langcliffe is a village and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated to the immediate north of Settle, and lies to the east of Giggleswick. Langcliffe also lies within one of the eight regions covered by the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which was "established in 1954, and covers an area of 1,762 square kilometers in the north of England, straddling the central Pennines in the counties of North Yorkshire and Cumbria.
