West Littleton
West Littleton is a small hamlet of approximately 50 inhabitants. It is located in South Gloucestershire, England, between the M4 and the A420. The closest amenities are in Marshfield and the historic city of Bath is a short distance to the south. The stately home, Dyrham Park, is located a few hundred metres from the village. West Littleton shot to international prominence as being the hideout retreat for Hugh Grant at the time of his alleged affair with a Los Angeles prostitute.

St Catherine's Court
St Catherine's Court is a grade I listed Tudor manor house in a secluded valley north of Bath, England. The manor of St Catherine belonged to Prior Cantlow of Bath Abbey in medieval times. It takes its name from the church of St Catherine beside the manor house. The oldest part of the house is Elizabethan. It was remodelled by William Blanchard, who bought St Catherine's Court and its estate in 1594. His initials appear in the plasterwork frieze of a bedroom.

Battle of Deorham
The Battle of Deorham or Dyrham was fought in 577 between the West Saxons under Ceawlin and Cuthwine and the Britons of the West Country. The location, Deorham, is usually taken to refer to Dyrham in South Gloucestershire. The battle was a major victory for the West Saxons, who took three important cities, Glevum, Corinium and Aquae Sulis. The battle is known exclusively from the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, which gives few details, but it is thought to have been a major engagement.
