Winterslow
Winterslow is a village with a population of around 2,000 people, located about 6 miles North East of Salisbury, Wiltshire, United Kingdom, just off the A30 London Road. It has a primary school, a pre-school group, a village shop and post office, doctor's surgery, two pubs, 5 churches, a large modern village hall and two large recreation grounds. It is sited on the Roman road between Old Sarum and Winchester. The name is thought to have its origins in an ancient term for burial mound.

Bentley Wood
Bentley Wood, together with the adjacent Blackmoor Copse, situated close to the Hampshire /Wiltshire border near the village of West Tytherley form one of the largest contiguous areas of woodland in Wiltshire, England. An area of 665 hectares of the wood was notified as a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1985 The site is very important for butterflies, with species present including Purple Emperor, White Admiral and Pearl-bordered Fritillary.

Blackmoor Copse is a woodland in Wiltshire, managed as a nature reserve by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. A 31.3-hectare area of the wood was notified as a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1971. The site is adjacent to another, larger, woodland SSSI, Bentley Wood.
