University of London Observatory

The University of London Observatory at Mill Hill in London is an astronomical teaching observatory, part of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at University College London. The Observatory was opened on 8 October 1929 by the then Astronomer Royal Frank Watson Dyson, initially to house the 24-inch reflector from Dr W.E. Wilson's observatory at Daramona, Ireland, which was donated to the University of London after his death.

Mill Hill Park

Mill Hill Park is a large (14.3 hectare) public park in Mill Hill in the London Borough of Barnet. It one of Barnet's premier parks and it has been given a Green Flag Award. The park straddles the A1 with the main park to the east linked by an underpass to a smaller mainly grassed area to the west. It has formal flowerbeds, large areas of mown grassland, many impressive mature trees, and a Community Forest Nature Reserve, planted in 1993-94.

Hendon Aerodrome

Hendon Aerodrome was an aerodrome in Hendon, north London, England that, between 1908 and 1968, was an important centre for aviation. It was situated in Colindale, seven miles (11.3 km) north west of Charing Cross. It nearly became "the Charing Cross of the UK's international air routes", but for the actions of RAF after the First World War.
