Solent Way

The Solent Way is a 60 mile long-distance footpath in Hampshire, southern England. With the exception of a few inland diversions, the path follows the coast of the Solent, the sea strait that separates the mainland England from the Isle of Wight. The Solent Way forms part of the E9 European Coastal Path, which runs for 5000 km (3125 miles) from Cape St Vincent in Portugal to Narva-Jõesuu in Estonia.

Lymington River

The Lymington River is a small river in Hampshire, England, flowing through the New Forest into the Solent at the town of Lymington. The river has a total length of 30 km, although above the point where it leaves the Crown lands of the New Forest at Brockenhurst it is known as the Highland Water. It flows from OS grid reference SU244115 to SU304031.

Lymington Town railway station

Lymington Town railway station is a railway station serving the town of Lymington in Hampshire, England. It is the only intermediate station on the Lymington Branch Line from Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier. Celebrations were held at Lymington Town (as well as at Brockenhurst) in mid-2008, to mark the 150th anniversary of the branch line.

Colwell Bay

Colwell Bay is a bay in the west of the Isle of Wight. It is located between the towns of Totland and Yarmouth. The bay's northernmost point is Cliff's End the closest point of the Island to the British mainland, with Hurst Castle lying at the end of a long peninsula just 1500 metres (a little less than a mile) to the northwest. The southernmost point is Warden Point.
